About the game
The eighth generation moves the series to Galar, a region modeled on Great Britain, where Gym Leader battles take place in stadiums packed with spectators. The key mechanic is Dynamax, which temporarily enlarges a Pokémon, while Gigantamax also changes the appearance of certain species. The Wild Area debuts as the series' first large open space with a free camera and cooperative Max Raid Battles. Zacian, a wolf, appears on the cover, while the legendary Eternatus brings the story to its conclusion.
