The box shelf

LEGO Pokémon sets are new — the license only started in 2026, so the whole shelf fits on a single page. The largest set is Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, with 6,838 pieces — as many as a dozen or so smaller sets combined. Next to each box is what a store will not tell you: which species are inside and where to read about them.

The rest of the 1,025 species are still waiting their turn — the first wave of sets sticks to the ones everybody knows.

Which Pokémon are in a box is taken from the set name — the catalog does not list the figures. We made one exception for the large Poké Ball with trainer figures: Eevee and Pikachu stand next to the ball even though the name does not mention them, so we took the lineup from the photo. We checked the ten other boxes without a species in their name the same way, and there really is none — they are badges, Poké Balls, training targets and a trainer figure.
