About the game
The companion edition to Pokémon Sword, sharing Galar, the Wild Area, and the entire Dynamax system. The shield-bearing Zamazenta stands on the cover, and gameplay differences reach further than usual: some Gyms have different leaders, so players face Allister and Melony instead of Bea and Gordie, changing the opponent types later in the game. Version exclusives such as Galarian Ponyta and Appletun also differ. Both versions received The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra expansions.
