A stat in the games is not a single number but four layers: the species' base stat, IVs rolled when you encounter the Pokémon, EVs earned in battle, and a nature that raises one stat by 10% at the cost of another. The calculator uses exactly the formula the games have used since Generation III. More in the IVs, EVs and natures guide. Already have the Pokémon and want to go the other way — from stats to IVs? Level
IV (per stat)
EV (per stat)
In the games you have 510 EVs to distribute in total, at most 252 in a single stat — the calculator applies the same value to every stat to show the effect of that parameter alone.
Nature
What this nature does and who it suits — the Hardy nature page, or all 25 natures.
Results
Hardy — a neutral nature; it changes no stats.
| Stat | Base | Nature | Results |
|---|---|---|---|
| HP | 35 | — | 110 |
| Attack | 55 | — | 75 |
| Defense | 40 | — | 60 |
| Sp. Atk | 50 | — | 70 |
| Sp. Def | 50 | — | 70 |
| Speed | 90 | — | 110 |
| Total | 320 | — | 495 |
How it was calculated
HP:
⌊(2 × base + IV + ⌊EV ÷ 4⌋) × level ÷ 100⌋ + level + 10
Other stats:
⌊(⌊(2 × base + IV + ⌊EV ÷ 4⌋) × level ÷ 100⌋ + 5) × nature⌋
The nature is a multiplier of 1.1 / 1.0 / 0.9. Every rounding goes down, which is why at low levels the differences can be smaller than the percentages alone would suggest. HP is not affected by nature.
