About the game
An expanded version of Pokémon Sun, not merely a reissue. The story was rebuilt around Necrozma, which becomes Dusk Mane Necrozma in this version after absorbing Solgaleo. The mysterious Ultra Recon Squad was added, along with journeys through Ultra Wormholes that allow players to catch legendary Pokémon from earlier generations. Beyond the main storyline are Episode RR, featuring every villainous team boss in the series, the Mantine Surf minigame, and the Battle Agency. It was one of the last major releases for Nintendo 3DS.
