About the game
The companion version to Pokémon Sun, built around the same journey across Alola's four islands and the trial system that replaces Gyms. Its legendary mascot is Lunala, a batlike Pokémon of the moon, and the in-game clock is offset by twelve hours from Pokémon Sun, so nighttime events occur during the middle of the day in real time. Some encounters with Ultra Beasts and certain version exclusives also differ, led by the know-it-all Oranguru. The story of Lusamine and Team Skull remains shared by both versions.
