About the game
A mirror image of Pokémon Ruby in which Team Aqua, an organization seeking to flood Hoenn, is the main enemy and Kyogre is the legendary mascot. Both the story's climax and the list of available creatures change, with Lotad replacing Seedot and Sableye replacing Mawile, among other differences. Every third-generation addition, from Abilities and natures to Secret Bases and Pokémon Contests, works identically. It is a good entry point for anyone who prefers the oceanic side of the conflict.

A diagram, not a world map: distances are not to scale, there are no coastlines, and a route that bends in the game is a straight line here. The directions are accurate, though — every connection matches the game. The legend below the drawing explains each symbol.
