About the game
The series' Nintendo DS debut introduced one of the most important mechanical changes in its history: moves are now classified as physical or special individually rather than by type, transforming team building. Sinnoh is cold and mountainous, and its central story follows Team Galactic's desire to remake the world. Pokémon Diamond casts Dialga, ruler of time, as its legendary mascot. It also added an Underground for digging up treasure and worldwide trading over Wi-Fi.

A diagram, not a world map: distances are not to scale, there are no coastlines, and a route that bends in the game is a straight line here. The directions are accurate, though — every connection matches the game. The legend below the drawing explains each symbol.
