About the game
The fifth generation opted for a hard reset. Until the story is completed, players encounter only new species, all 156 designed for Unova, so even veterans start from scratch. The region is distinctly urban and inspired by New York City, while Team Plasma, led by N, poses the uncomfortable question of whether catching Pokémon is ethical at all. Reshiram represents Pokémon Black, and Black City, filled with vendors and stronger opponents, replaces the forest settlement found in the other version.
